Climbing a Mountain

The fact that I could literally do anything with the rest of my life is overwhelming.

I find it difficult deciding what path to take

when any one I choose will lead to the same fate.

 

But life is like climbing a mountain,

you decide your path as you go.

If you get stuck along the way,

all you gotta do is pray.

 

I’m taking a moment to stop

and think about what’s waiting for me

at the top.

 

Figure out what you don’t like through process of elimination.

Try as many things as possible,

That way you know you’re not missing out.

At least to me, that seems the best way to find out.

 

Show me don’t tell me.

We learn best through experience.

But what happens when we can’t see

what we truly believe?

Then it’s about what the mind wants to perceive.

 

I love how it’s okay to not know exactly who you are

or what you want to do

when you’re only twenty two.

Cause I mean sometimes

I don’t even have a clue!

 

They say there are two days that matter most in life:

The day you were born and the day you find out why

So do more with your life than just try and get by.
